The beginning of this romance was so fun, especially with how the main characters met. I loved how our heroine wanted to be an investigator and was throwing herself into things women usually weren’t allowed to. I do think the second half of the books slowed down for me and I wasn’t as into the story, but the romance was definitely spicy and a lot of fun!
