The queen of slow burns strikes again!
I’ve only read two MZ books, but this one was my favorite. The tension and the angst was SO GOOD. I didn’t like Aiden for maybe the first 30-40% a whole lot, but by the time I hit halfway that changed. Vanessa was fantastic. I felt like both characters had so much depth to them and I really enjoyed seeing them work through their trauma together. All in all, this was *chefs kiss*
I’m looking forward to reading the rest of her books in the future!
