Cooper is a wounded soldier, an amputee, that grew up in the foster system and bought a modest fixer-upper when he was discharged from the military.
Sean's Uncle served with Cooper and when Sean needs a place to stay, Cooper agrees to help his buddy's nephew out.
Sean's got a traumatic past that he keeps repressed and hidden until the nightmares bring them to life at night.
Sean enjoys writing, poems mostly, but it seems to be a backburner story element, similar to Cooper's musical talents. Neither talent/hobby get much page time.
Add a newly-TriPawed pooch and you have the makings of a cute story.
Oh, and did I mention that Sean's a virgin with homophobe ideals?
It was interesting to see how this one would unfold.
