i am slightly disappointed because time is a mother did not impact me as much as it seems to be impacting everyone else since it’s release a couple of days ago!
the only poem i adored was ‘old glory�, but other than that i was just highlighting a few lines here and there. i am not the biggest fan of the formatting of some of the poetry, so i think that contributed to why i didn’t enjoy this one as much.
i definitely liked on earth we’re briefly gorgeous more, but this will not stop me from reading more of ocean vuong’s work!
