This is a pretty solid rating for a romantic "beach read." I listened to this while driving home from a trip and the audio narrated by Julia Whelan was fantastic! There were a few little quirky things that bugged me such as I don't know how many times I have ever noticed a crooked smile but geeze, one was sure mentioned WAY too many times. I also didn't like January referring to herself as a "dumb bunny" all the time.

Either way, this book was well written, clever and fun. It actually made me laugh out loud several times which is always funny when no one else knows why you are laughing. The conversations between Gus and January were 5 star all the way. Emily Henry did an incredible job creating their dialogue. I believe this is where the author truly shone.

Triggers: There is some references to abuse and sex and language but it not over the top and felt authentic.
