I can’t lie when I say I feel strangely torn between how I feel and want to rank this books, because while I didn’t necessarily expect everything to perfectly get wrapped up in a bow we instead in the last book in the series get thrown a decently written but still new protagonist to follow in Aya and even then the forest half of this book felt like a future jump finishing storyline it only devolved into literally the wildest and most over the top story yet which didn’t leave me feel satisfied but instead like I need at least another book or two to explain all this stuff Scoot threw at me. Honestly I still love the visualization and style of the series but I feel like the ending should’ve been way curved and the outcome would’ve been far more satisfying. 3.25/5
