really liked it

I really liked these characters, and I DID laugh out LOUD!! A lot! What a bunch, I could totally see this as a delightful TV series!
I didn't care two tiddley's about the murders or the victims, but then I guess we weren't meant to mourn them or feel sorry, it made it more fun for these oldsters to solve the crime, and not get emotionally involved. It was an intellectual challenge for them. That Elizabeth! Played by Helen Mirren?
Very funny, I recommend it for fans of whodunnits and retirement communities! I want my mother to listen to it, I think she'll like it, except for getting confused on all the people. It did get confusing towards the end. I couldn't keep track, but I didn't really care! The humor is the thing. I wish I had a record of all the funny lines, but it was a library book I was reading.
I did really appreciate that when they reserved the Jigsaw Room for their weekly Murder Club meetings, they have it listed as "Reflections on Japanese Opera", to discourage casual visitors! Hah!
