well this was disappointing. I expected better from this writer.
Let's start at the beginning:
there's been an older married couple murdered. the family & friends are the most likely suspects.
the writer then spends the next 50 pages telling us about the numerous (way too many) characters w/their ominous foreshadowing of reasons for motives.
apparently, the man was a jerk and the family dysfunctional. so we should feel empathy for the kids. do we? nope, b/c they were unlikable, horrible people.
Audrey, the sis was terrible too.
I didn't care for any of the main characters. I did feel bad for Irena-the housekeeper, Lisa & Ted-the spouses.
The one positive was that I didn't know who did it.
And the ending was ridiculous! I didn't like it at all.

I'd say this one is a skipper...
