I vacillated between rounding 3.5 stars up or down. The story is good, but the pacing is way off. Like a few other readers have mentioned, I too, started it, put it down out of boredom, and then picked it up again later.
I also never felt connected to the characters. After being so enamored of Velvet Was The Night, I was expecting more.
