In many ways this was even better than The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo - Taylor Jenkins Reid's writing style seems to have developed further and the book follows the POVs of a much larger cast of characters than Evelyn Hugo does. Delving into the experiences of the different members of the band and their team gave fascinating insight for the story, particularly with people remembering key events differently.
Where this doesn't hit as hard is that the two main protagonists just acted like jerks a few times too often. Whilst they acknowledge their actions (as do other characters), they ended up feeling less sympathetic. I guess that's kind of a personal preference thing and I'll enjoy this aspect more upon re-read.
The ending was impactful, which seems to be on-brand for Taylor Jenkins Reid, plus there some great easter eggs present. I do wish we got a few more chapters tying things up, but overall it was a fun story.
