While I enjoyed this book, I found it extremely overhyped. The real villain was obvious from the beginning, and the real mystery (spoiler) of why a rape victim would marry her rapist was not (if I recall correctly) ever explained to my satisfaction. The last section of the book was abrupt and unsatisfying.
