This was such a dark and heavy volume. I'm really interested in learning more about Yato's backstory but damn, I can tell it's gonna hurt. I'm curious to know more about his father too and their relationship. Seeing Yato be gone from Hiyori and Yukine was sad, especially when Hiyori slowly started to forget him. I'm scared to see what happens when he comes back.

Seeing the council again was fascinating. I wasn't expecting to see all of the 7 gods of fortunes. It was upsetting to see how Ebisu's shinki were treated just because the majority of them were strays. I'm not sure how I feel about Ebisu as a whole, but seeing his shinki be attacked and killed was just wrong. (I really liked Ebisu and Yato's interactions! They were really funny together). I wasn't expecting that Yato's dad wanted Yato to save Ebisu. I wonder what he is playing at and what the long game for him is. I wonder if Hiyori will be able to find Yato and if she will end up encountering his father. I also want to know more about the stray's motives but I feel like there are moments where it seems like she cares about Yato.
