If you are a COHO fan go ahead read it!! If you are a beginner mystery thriller reader then surely a good pick!!
The more I think about it the more difficult it gets to rate this book. But I will still give it 4.25 stars . Its a page turner no doubt. And keeps you entwined way after you have finished the book. You can’t help but think what the hell did I just read? Was it even true any of what is mentioned if so then which part? I liked the characters. I liked Jeremy until I couldn’t. I liked Lowen until i couldn’t. I hated verity until I couldn’t.
I won’t say it’s the best mind fucking book you will ever read. Nope. It’s creepy but if you are reading this either you are a fan of COHO or a mystery thriller reader. If you fall under the latter category like me then you will find the ending absurd. You will be disturbed more with the BJs and intimate scenes than the actual mystery element and gruesome scenes.
It was great well until those last couple of chapters. The tension building. The anticipation to just turn the page and read what will happen! You could feel the fear of characters.
Really would have been a must read 5 star thriller had it not been for how the writer wrapped it up or didnt wrap it up should I say.
This was my 2nd Colleen Hoover book. First one being ‘It Ends With Us�. And I think this book was far better than that one!
I dont think advanced mystery thriller readers would like it that much. Like ELLIAS!
