it was ok

Sigh

I give it a two star rating solely for my baby Delano he has my heart. All the other characters can fuck off. Yes every single one. Also it made my numb self both laugh and cry, but I am PMSing so idk if the book had anytging to do with that tbh.

Spoilers ahead bleh.

Poppy and Kieran are flirting while their beloved Casteel is thirsting away in a dungeon, hah okay? wtf!

I didnt know what to feel about the joining in the other books, honestly it felt maybe a bit weird to me. Kieran and Poppy felt like siblings in every book and then suddenly in this book he's touching her every single chance he gets and she's falling(ish) for him???(whileCasteelisdying) I liked the banter they had but I'm so confused by this new relationship between them.

Casteels POV: I dont care as long as Poppy is ok. I want to fuck Poppy. Poppy is amazing I dont care about a single person other than Poppy.
There now you can skip all of Casteels chapters. Thats his entire personality in this book.

The book was exhausting honestly.

A six book series is never a good idea, prove me wrong.
