Gosh, I wanted to be so in love with this book. Based on reviews, everyone was! I just couldn’t connect, I couldn’t get into it and I don’t know why. Maybe I was preoccupied. There were elements that were great. The slow burn, the father / daughter relationship BUT too much going on for me I think. Maybe I wasn’t in the right head space.
All in all a cute read but I just didn’t get all the warm and fuzzies. I know I’m in the minority here so please give it a shot and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
