** spoiler alert ** i cant believe this is a bestseller to be honest. I mean its well written i guess, but nothing special about colleen’s writing style.Also, I think lily is the antagonist here. Why? Because if she were a considerate person, after seeing Atlas in Bib’s for the first time and realising her feelings for him are still present, she really should have just left ryle(not be with him while thinking about another man). And when ryle abuses her she doesnt leave..for what? She has someone to go to-atlas, and she could have been happy with him. Instead she marries her abuser? Wtf. AND THEN THEY HAVE A CHILD AND RIGHT AFTER LILY GIVES BIRTH SHE TELLS RYLE SHE WANTS A DIVORCE? what kind of non empathetic person would do that? Such an emotional manipulator. Now im not saying ryle is an angel but he had a reason to believe lily’s cheating. And she thinks shes the only victim? No, ryle is a victim as well. I disliked every smut part but thats not even what bothered me the most. Its lily i detested the most AND I TRIED TO TRUST THE PROCESS BUT NOTHING. Thats all i have to say about this
