it was ok

Dnf, for now, just shy of fifty percent through. I am bound and determined to try again later in the year to actually finish, but now? I am SLUDGING through this and it's boring me to tears. Are there some interesting tidbits here and there? Yes. But this book is not really about Beethoven! To be honest, I'm not even sure WHO it's supposed to be about. I cannot believe it was nominated for a Pulitzer given how scatty the presentation is.

Anyway, I want to try and finish eventually, because a goal for my reading life this year is to read a biography or a book to learn something from each month. I've been stuck with this one for two months now, and it's time to move on. 🤷🏻‍♀
