I wasn’t expecting so much when going into this, but I ended up LOVING this! This is single dad, age gap, forced proximity, forbidden boss/nanny and I ate this up! Liam is this grumpy NHL coach and he needs a nanny for his two daughters. He puts an ad in a newspaper for a nanny and Juliet decides to apply. Liam immediately sees the affect she has on his girls, but there is also an instant attraction between them. I felt like this book had everything I needed! It was cute, there was fluff, a great family dynamic, and even a little bit of spice. I loved seeing how Liam and Juliet were with the girls. Liam is such a great dad and you can see how fond of them Juliet is and her love for them just grows and grows. Overall, just everything about this book made me love this story. It was very short and fast paced so it held my attention. I enjoyed the relationship development between Liam and Juliet. They constantly try to fight the attraction they have so that they don’t cross a line, but there is just so much tension between them! There are scenes where Liam takes care of her because she’s hurt, he gets INSANELY JEALOUS. Loved these moments so much! I LOVED all the side characters as well (Juliet’s grandma and her retirement friends, Liam’s players and best friend). I know we will also be able to read about some of the characters we meet here and I’m so excited to read about them. I was squealing and screaming and just rooting for Liam and Juliet the entire time. I think this is a great intro if you’re looking to read a single dad romance! Definitely recommend this for a cute and quick easy read!
