A lot of huge developments with Ryner in this one. Not so hot on Sion's parts, as Kagami's style is especially grating when he has to EMPHASIZE. But I really liked seeing a more conversational Alpha and Ryner's talk with Vois about what it means to protect people. Not that much going on with the female characters in this book, which was disappointing. But the arrival of Pia suggests a very interesting and amazing female character having a role from here on out. I look forward to seeing more of her.
