As Good As Dead (A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, #3)

I'm a little dissapointed with the conclusion of this trilogy. The first book was truly amazing, one of my favorites of the genre. The second one was great too, not as great as the first but an awesome sequel. With this one I'm a little torn because the writing I really loved, Holly Jackson is amazing, but I did not enjoy what our protagonist became.
Pip is a flawed person, we get that idea from the first book. She's not perfect sunshine girl but she is fundamently a good person and strives to do the right thing. Now don't get me wrong, I understand why she does the things she does but I always felt there was some sort of line she was not going to cross and with this book that flew out of the window.
I guess it all felt a little bit out of character of her and that put me off more than once. The first two books I devoured, read them in the matter of one or two days, whereas this one took me more than a month because I kept putting it down.
I don't know, this just wasn't what I was expecting.
