it was ok

I was actually looking forward to see what Emily Ratajkowski has to say about owning ones own (female) sexuality and perception considering she's mainly known for her physical body but I ended up being rather disappointed in that regard. She is a decent writer and I appreciate her honesty and introspective but when she's looking to the outside world she's unfortunately unable to provide any insight outside the already known and largely follows and explains the male gaze and her wish to 'use' the system. I would have given her 3 stars for her efforts and willingness to share so much about her life and because she made her essays quick and easy reads I could fit into the day but I am still hung up on her framing of feminism which only came into being in the 2000s/2010s with Cheryl Sandberg, Beyonce and popping the word "feminism" onto t-shirts according to her introduction...ouch 🙈
