it was amazing

Lots of terrific research and eye-opening data on animal behavior including the fact that wolves don’t naturally form packs, they live in their families. Dogs are the same way and the only dogs that have retained submissive behaviors to stay out of fights in man-made packs are the breeds that have retained wolf traits the most. She digs on Cesar Milan rightly so for becoming famous on this misinformed belief that humans are alphas of their packs and dogs live in packs and respond with hierarchies where the human is the alpha. It’s not natural and the people who don’t like this book are likely scared to believe that animals have emotions, or that constantly confining animals with no social stimulus isn’t natural, or humans aren’t naturally the dominant species. People need to wake up.
