Mara and Morok: a special shadow (Mara and Morok, #2)

It was okay. A bit better than part 1, but still has some weak points (lengthy description of dresses, furniture, and combat moves, but very abrupt and unnatural dialogs). Switching POVs was a nice touch, I think the author should have done this in the first book. The main character is still mostly annoying (gosh, why does she always not understand obvious things??), so getting the story from Morok's POV was a relief.

The ending was pretty obvious. Don't expect much about this dilogy: it's a very simple story that borrows a lot from far better universes (Grishaverse & The Witcher) and does it very clumsily because the world-building of "Mara & Morok" is one of its weakest points.
