really liked it

I enjoyed this book. It started a hair on the slow side, and some of the writing word choices seemed odd - I chalked this up to the book being translated from Russian. However, as the story goes on the prose improves dramatically, and it turns into a very pleasurable read. The characters are at times frustrating and make odd decisions, but in general are understandable and engaging. The drama is intense and omnipresent, and you actually feel for the characters often enough.

The ending is a rollercoaster, moving between a dramatic but sort of boring courtroom scene, which turns into an epic battle scene that rivals any of Sandersons in my opinion. A fun read that I would recommend.
