it was amazing
bookshelves: classic-literature, tbr-2024

As a child at school I can remember reading ‘An occurrence at owl creek and that dealing with the experience of death really impacted me. I never thought I would encounter its like again - well I have now. Tolstoy’s short story is truly a masterpiece, so powerful so gut wrenching you almost feel the pain Ivan Ilyich is going through. Though the ending is inevitable Tolstoy manages to add a twist that will leave every reader thinking.
PS Another excellent read recommended by Ruth of 24 for Classics for 2024 Bookclub.

Elisa I can't tell if the app is memorising my "like". It keeps telling "error". Well I did like it and thanks also for the "The Great Gatsby" audiobook review.
