Gosh, I like Brandon Sanderson's writing. No disrespect to Robert Jordan, but I really enjoyed Sanderson's completion of Jordan's Wheel of Time series. I was also swept up by Sanderson's own Mistborn series and now the Stormlight Archive. Which brings us to this little gem - a very quick and thoroughly enjoyable read set in the time between the third and fourth main novels in the series. We get to know some of the minor characters from those bigger books and enjoy a classic hero's journey for more than one of those characters. The plot also includes a big turn of events that is certain to play a role in the future survival of this world. So if you are enjoying this series, don't skip this short entry.
