This is hands down one of my favorite books. I have read it a dozen times and it still has not gotten old. It is not for people who are overly sensitive though. While I am not usually one for spoilers it does have a rape scene that is pretty detailed and it throws a lot of people. While many would have stopped reading at that point it made Sorcha more real to me on a more personal level having been there I could find myself within her ( if that makes any kind of sense ). It is an emotional roller-coaster that will have you holding your breath as your turn the pages to see what happens next.
