In true Kandi Steiner fashion, this book broke me. It has all the angst and romance a hopeless romantic could ask for. And it didn’t really matter if you understood none of the football games (I didn’t but I never understood football) you become so invested in the characters that you just want to stay in the moment with them.
I wasn’t a huge fan of the beginning because it felt a little meh to me, but holy clay, does it pick up and holds you in a chokehold and won’t let go until you admit it is one of the great books you’ve read.
I loved all the characters especially Clay, Giana, Riley, Zeke, and Holden. I can’t wait to start reading all the other characters stories because I am so invested in their love lives it’s sad 🥲
