Listened to it as an audiobook and the only reasonnit has even 1 star is because the narrator did a decent job of reading it. Otherwise it's a crap story and not worth the time. I came so close to marking it as DNF multiple times but I hate doing that and pushed through.
The story is from the POV of a kid who is an entitled sociopath that has been catered to his entire life. As a result, he gets away with hitting and threatening people with a weapon, throws tantrums and screams to get his way and when he's in situations he doesn't like. This means that he has zero coping skills in anything.
Had to laugh at the last line because he called himself brave and that he can do anything. He showed zero bravery and he can only do whatever he wants because he'll throw a tantrum otherwise and everyone just gives into him.
Do not recommend wasting time with reading this. And I really don't understand how it's won awards because it was terrible.
