I don't get all the hype. it was a cute story but I almost didn't continue reading it after the first couple chapters because it was so depressing. also, the authors voice was sometimes so simplistic and other times complex, it just didn't flow. I felt like I was being told a story but he wasn't showing it to me. I also disagree that it was "laugh out loud funny" cute, okay but I didn't find it hysterical as others did.
