Ocean of Melancholy: The Tragedy that was Karbala

Like many Muslims, i was unaware of the events that triggered the battle of Karbala…till i read this book which was written in 19th century…it is about the treachery by people of Kufa, crime by own relatives, bravery & humbleness by Imam Hassan (RA) and Imam Hussein (RA) and lastly about the brutality by Yazid..it will definitely make you weep
Some points to note is that the translator did not use words like RA or PBUH which is quite understandable as she was a non-muslim. Furthermore, it would have been great if references of their source were added
