This is another pick from my local book club and I have to say I really enjoyed it. It is hard to discus this book without spoiling anything so you have been warned but I will keep it brief . This is a very bleak and real story. The way things turn out for most of these characters is very depressing to say the least. I do wish the author would have been a bit more specific with the time this book took place. I would have to say late 70’s early 80s?
