LOVED! This was BY FAR her best one yet (that I've read, I haven’t read Beach Read yet). I did enjoy People We Meet on Vacation, but thought Book Lovers was sooo blahhh - honestly can barely remember what it was about, just recall endless unnecessary dialogue and blah characters. Well my friends, NOT HAPPY PLACE! This was a redemption read, with a full cast of characters that not only had depth, but flaws that were real and relatable.

Happy Place resonated with me so much.
“You are where my mind goes when it needs to be soothed��
“Love means constantly saying sorry, and then doing better��
“Because it makes me happy, and I don’t consider anything that does that a waste of time��

The two characters I related with the most were Wyn and Harry; in different ways. They each had character traits, family life, and personal issues that resonated with me. This book was full of angst, emotion, and conflict resolution.

We all have our “Happy Place��, and this book is a reminder to cherish yours, or if you’ve lost it, to make sure you find it again.
