** spoiler alert ** I really hate to be rating this 3 stars, and if I am honest it might have been 2 if not for my love of the rest of the series.

Very much feel things could have been wrapped up in this book.

Did enjoy Malina’s slow burn, but didn’t feel the pay off was great.

Hate that Slade and Auren were together ZERO percent of the story and absolutely LOATHE the Forgetting Troupe.

The ending made me more annoyed than intrigued to read the next book. Now I just see even more stuff they are going to have to work through. (As if there wasn’t already a ton since not much got resolved this book)

Also, I found some of the big reveals to be way too obvious. Saw that the others sent through the rip were going to be at Slade’s Dad’s place and saw the fairy ring trap coming too.

I did not see the reveal with Wick.

I feel like Osrik’s chapters were a waste. Why wasn’t more said about Rissa when she finally woke up??

When I reread this series, I will be skipping this book. It is the weakest in the series.
