What a wonderful premise and one that has been copied by other authors with their slight interpretations and have been posted in this sight - and for me, would be hard to read without comparing those to this one.
The characters in the book were well thought out and liked how each had something to hide and how they all came to being invited to this island. They seemed to be suspicious of one another at different times throughout and then come together after each body was found.
Having the rhyme being placed in each room and having those die on the island was great. Having the tension slowly build between those on the island after each murder was committed and then the bodies were discovered was well conceived and written.
I really liked the Epilogue in the book how the police were baffled as to what happened and came to their own conclusions - was it correct? - guess you'll need to read the book to find out.
As always with AC, clues were sprinkled throughout and those with keen minds (not me!) would have been able to figure it out before the section "Manuscript Sent".
Recommend for AC fans and those who like murder mysteries.
