This short story collection is dated, irrelevant, and has a weird amount of rape and incest that isn't really addressed. Jesus is pretty cool though but he gets killed off :/ No idea why so many people stan Paul, he has some really problematic takes. Cool that the book is so old though and some of the folk tales in the beginning had good plots. Idk why this is my mom's favorite book tbh, the lore chapters are borderline unreadable. I know this is kind of a cult classic and all but I was expecting more.
