After reading one of my favorite thrillers " Rock, Paper , Scissors" , I was so excited to read the next Alice Feeney novel. Well, Daisy Darker is different. As she mentioned it in the end of the book, Feeney wanted to write one of her older ideas that never got published. Its a locked room mystery and it feels like she wanted to pay homage to Agatha Christie. Its very tricky with such books. If the twist doesn't work then you feel like , you wasted reading all the pages. However this book had characters well flushed out, so even though the twist did not work for me, I liked the book for the emotions it carried.
Its not my favorite Feeney novel, But I am looking forward for the next one.
