Delirium (Delirium, #1)

Oh how I tried to be generous, how I tried to enjoy this book, but I couldn't! The prose was inflated and over-capacity with metaphors and personifications, even the name of the disease was too cheesy for my liking, the ending did redeem it a bit, but not by much. But alas there is always a silver lining and thus I have come to the happy conclusion that there are just books that rub you the wrong way, and to put this in line with the Divergent and Hunger Games trilogies is a bit presumption and for all accounts indicative of a delirium. I might pick up the next book, but not for a long time.
