The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires

This went from comical, to pretty bland, to awkwardly graphic. I thought it was hilarious at first, but unfortunately not a whole lot happens until the end other than the housewives all listening to their husbands for way too long and then things get weird. The way the scenes are described and dragged out would be absolutely perfect for a TV show, but in a book, it is a chore to get through. I will remember it mainly for the way it made me feel bored, frustrated, and mildly uncomfortable and confused at the same time. I'm sure there is an audience for this; it's not for me though.
