so i initially rated this book 4 stars, but now i’m coming back to give it 3…when i first started this book it reminded me so much of beauty and the beast and that’s literally my all time favorite disney movie BUT tamlin is a no. i cannot stand him. i absolutely adore feyre tho and like what the author did with her character in this series ughhhhh it’s so good, but yeah this book i’ll give 3 stars only because i hate tamlin so much lmao realistically this book was really good but the second book was SO much better that there’s just no way this book is a 4 star for me.

Tamlin was kinda bland in this first book so I never fell in love with him, but the way he is actually purely insufferable in the second book (which is what I’m reading right now) is making me look at all of his interactions with Feyre in this book in a whole different way💀
