More like a 3.5, I love this series, love Pip and her family. The first half of this book was a fabulous slow burn. The mystery, the dysfunction and trauma pip is dealing with from the previous two books.. but the second half it doesn't feel like the Pip we've grown to know. The whole time I just felt frustrated and wanting to shake her. I can understand a traumatized and adrenaline filled Pip killing Jason, I can understand her feeling like she can't call the police. But I do not understand her concealing who Jason was and thus leaving Billy wrongfully imprisoned without a way out. That doesn't align with the Pip I feel like we've seen. I know she goes back to try and help him but just .. idk. And then pip and Ravi could absolutely of stayed together and just move to another state or to Canada or the uk or something.
