Steamy and delightful. Evie is being manipulated and forced into a corner by her scheming relatives, so she devises a plan of her own—a marriage of convenience to Sebastian St. Vincent. I loved the banter between these two, how at first they were so at odds, and eventually of course fell for each other entirely. I really liked Evie’s character, her resourcefulness, and loyalty. The steamy scenes were really well written and the slow burn between the characters was nicely done. 5/5 stars.
