"This is the single most Gen Z piece of literature I have ever read in my entire life.
&I read some cringey millenial shit back in the day.
But man oh man. This is just not for me."

"I can’t stand this ~quirky~ dialogue. This book is getting on my NERVES. I don’t remember Simon’s book being like this??
I really want to just quit but I’m already over half way. But yeah, I don’t like this. The dialogue, the characters, the constant pop culture references. THE FACT THAT THE PLOT HAS NOT MOVED AN INCH IN OVER 200 PAGES.
I thought I just wasn’t in the mood but nah.
This is just bad."

"I’ve somehow had the idea stuck in my head that I’m a Becky Albertali fan but in retrospect.. I really haven’t liked the majority of her books. I LOVED Simon and enjoyed Kate In Waiting (even if it was forgettable), but the rest of her books have all been huge misses for me. I guess we’re parting ways after this."
