** spoiler alert ** I started noticing that Emily Henry mentions Taylor Swift in each book. This book, I swear to god she was using specific words and phrases that were a homage to Taylor. So obviously, I’m in love with that. I hope Emily gets to go to the Eras tour 😋

This was my favorite book she’s done so far. The banter was witty and out of this world. And I think the reason this hot so hard for me is that I am Harriet, I’m stuck in a job I don’t want to do anymore, but I’m really trapped and cannot leave. Towards the end she describes what it’s like to be a surgeon, exhausted all the time, on call all the time, working all the time, not free to take time off etc. and it was like a gut punch. And while I can’t just up and leave I need to do better for myself, so thanks Emily and Harriet for speaking to me.

I also found it hilarious that I’m literally trapped in Montana, and Harriet loves Montana 😂
