Faith's Reviews > The Chronicles of Narnia
The Chronicles of Narnia (The Chronicles of Narnia, #1-7)

Such a nostalgic read for me, because even though I'd never read the books before, I grew up watching the movies and so it felt like revisiting a childhood favorite.
Definitely the symbolism of everything being a picture of the Christian faith is very strong throughout the series, and especially in the final book as the whole story gets closure.
Overall I just really enjoyed these books and will 100% read them again someday, the plot of each book is strong, the characters are always great and there was usually good character development going on in the story, plus the style of writing is that warm and cozy old English which I can never get enough of.
Also in case you'd like to know, I read the books in chronological order, it just made more sense storyline-wise to me, and I am very glad that I did, I don't think I would have felt the same satisfaction with the conclusion of the series if I had read them in a different order.
