really liked it

I had so many mixed emotions about this book, it was a crazy day. I read from about the end of their adventures until the end all in one day because I could not put it down!

So, this was my first John Green book despite my English teacher urging me to read Looking for Alaska for months. I just picked it up as something to pass the time and then found myself FASCINATED with Margo. It's just like John wrote, there are so many different Margos. But at the same time I think that she was obviously all the same Margo but she, like myself and every other human being, hide the parts of us we don't want everyone to see. Even though she wasn't afraid to be herself, there was still SO MUCH that she never shared. I think it's easy to relate to the characters, maybe not to the extremes that they took though.

Part 1 was really interesting and made me laugh as I continued to read because I had to know what was coming next. Then when part 2 rolled around and she didn't show up anywhere I was confused and thinking "uh, there are over 200 pages in this book so what is about to unravel?" I was hooked, I couldn't stop reading, I had to find out!

Ugh, so no I didn't particularly LOVE the ending, but the book itself mad it worth it. The plot, each event, and John's style made the book great. I would recommend this book to all of my friends really and definetely anyone who has read 13 Reasons Why. I definitely feel like the 2 books are similar.
