Before the Coffee Gets Cold (Before the Coffee Gets Cold, #1)

3.5 stars.
The concept of this story is something interesting and unique, and it is refreshing to read something so different. The one thing I disliked about this story is that it does not follow a plot with characters, instead it tells different stories of different encounters with the café and coffee. To some, this is fine and not an issue, to me it confused me when starting to read, but then I understood how the story was told.
I think the theme and purpose of this story is beautiful, and this novel has many good things for people to take from it. I have heard of people crying and being emotionally compromised upon finishing, but I did not have the same reaction nor attachment to this novel, but I can see how someone could.
Despite my feelings, I do think overall this story had much to tell, and is something new and refreshing to read.
