The Black Order (Tom Clancy's Op-Center, #20)

Does not live up to having Clancy’s name attached. Rovin has written multiple books for this series, and I can’t believe they are any better, so I’ll not bother with the rest. So many issues with the plot and the characters. Characters are two dimensional stereotypes, a hand to hand expert that doesn’t use firearms, a sniper that acts like a street thug, ex-military adversaries not using firearms in a stand-off with an unknown number of assailants, not realistic at all. And the “villain’s plan dismantled in less than 24 hours. This book was so bland I almost didn’t finish it.
