Caution: this book was full of f-bombs!?!😬
This was not an easy book to read. The beginning was especially challenging emotionally, as Stephanie recounts the details of her traumatic childhood and the scars that resulted. But her brutal honesty and relentless pursuit of healing brings incredible insight.
I feel like everyone who has been neglected, abused…or who cares for someone who has been neglected or abused, should read this book. I listened to the audio version, which was extremely helpful. Much emotion can be conveyed through voice.
I totally applaud Stephanie for sharing her very personal experiences, including great vulnerability and pain. She enables the reader to feel, learn & grow with her. Bravo for her courage, tenacity, introspect & strength. This book feels like a very generous gift😘
