I enjoyed the somewhat Agatha Christie like feel of this book and the ending had a good twist. But the book felt slow and bogged down and again the multiple POVs are really beginning to get old as a story device. I like the old format where you aren’t privy to everyone’s thoughts and your brain doesn’t go in ten thousand directions though I haven’t read Christie in a long time and don’t remember if she uses this technique. Probably in 10 Little Indians??? Idk. Shame on me. The characters also felt two dimensional and we don’t really get a good feel for how they could have all ended up in this situation at the same time. They were all pretty unlikable down to the parents! The timeline got a bit confusing at the end as well and some of the action seemed downright ridiculous. How do you have a wedding on an island in the cold and wind and peat bog without getting totally trashed yet we are to think that everyone looked great all night long while murder and mayhem prevailed. Nope... didn’t buy that. Should have seen the twist but I never do. Duh. It was a POV in the story. (Hint) Lolol

Overall a short read though it took me forever due to watching Netflix so it wasn’t all that compelling I guess. Most people will likely enjoy it. Just another thriller imo.
